Description of the Organization: 

emyb e.V. is the abbrevation for "European-Mediterranean Youth Bridge."
We are an NGO working in the domain of human development. Our organisation was founded by young people from Germany and works on a voluntary basis.

We work in European countries, the Islamic world, and Israel. Our main priorities are:
- the development of human rights
- peaceful conflict management
- the promotion of democratic principles

In accordance with our "dialogue for development" motto, we bring together people from countries south and north of the Mediterranean to provide young people in particular with the possibility to participate and to enable an egalitarian dialogue between the youth of our countries.

We provide schools, youth groups, NGOs, etc. with information and learning opportunities on the Middle East and the Islamic world, for example:
- the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
- Islam (history and the present, human rights, democracy, women's rights, etc.)
- Turkey and the EU
- Iraq, etc.

We also offer different training programmes:
- inter-faith dialogue
- cross-cultural issues
- youth cooperation
· human rights training
