CESI - Center for Education, Counselling and Research

CESI advocates for improvement of position of women in society and for achieving gender equality, as well as full implementation of all laws and international instruments for protection of human rights. Our main activities are education and training,advocacy and lobbying,media projects,publishing of manuals and brochures, networking.

CESI Strategic Goals are:

• to advance protection of women's human rights and civil society values in Croatia and in the region,
• to influence adoption and implementation of gender related policies – in health, education, labour, and political participation domains
• to promote citizens' active participation in decision-making processes
• to encourage inclusion and empowerment of marginalised groups for participation in social and economic processes.

CESI works in Croatia but also initiates and participates in various projects in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia.
